A painting of Portuguese fishermen waiting to go to sea at Peniche. A dog similarly sits and waits to the right of the composition. Presented in a distressed gilt-effect wooden frame. Signed to the lower-left edge. There is a label on the verso inscribed with the date and title. On board.

Condition

There are a couple of slight marks to the surface but overall in fine condition.
