Albert Crahay (1881-1914) was a Belgian painter and printmaker. Crahay painted scenes including marines, landscapes, figures, and fishermen, and his work is represented in the Royal Museum of Fine Arts Antwerp collection. He studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp under Frans Hens and was associated with the Antwerp art group Kunst van Heden ("Art of Today"). His work shows influences of local impressionist traditions and a clear, fluid use of colour in depictions of everyday life and coastal scenes. Crahay exhibited his work in European cities including Berlin, Paris, and Brussels before his career was cut short by his early death at age 33.
