Description
Fashionably dressed figures populate the grand Brunswick Terrace in Brighton. The Royal Suspension Chain Pier, built in 1823 and destroyed in a storm in 1896, can be seen in the distance. Well presented in a gilt frame. Unsigned. On canvas on stretchers.Condition
The artwork has undergone restorative work, including relining and areas of overpainting. Some slight discolouration. Marks and scuffs to the frame. Despite this, the condition is good for a picture of this age and presents very well.
