William Ward - Original 1811 Mezzotint. After a painting by G.H. Harlow Esqr. Published in London on 6th February 1811 by J.P. Thompson. From a collection of etchings and aquatints previously owned by English antiquarian scholar and print collector Christopher Lennox-Boyd (1942 – 2012), whose collector's stamp is verso. Signed in plate. On wove. Condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. There are also numerous tears and creases to edges of paper.
