William Moore (1817-1909) - Original 19th Century Watercolour. Signed to the lower right, laid to backing board measuring 43 x 53 cm. Signed and inscribed. On wove. Condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration, a small abrasion to the lower left. William Moore was the son of painter William Moore of York. His work is in the collections of the Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool, the Royal Academy and the Royal Society of Painters in Water Colours, London.
