Painter, born and educated Brierley Hill, Staffordshire. He studied at Plymouth College of Art where he was taught by D.A. Chatterton. His subject matter was mainly sea ports, harbours, coastal scenery often with figures on a beach, especially children. He exhibited with the St. Ives Society of Artists, RSMA, RBA, ROI and in Europe. He was elected RSMA in 1989 and examples of his paintings are in Dudley Art Gallery.
