A vibrant beach scene by French artist Jacques Lebourgeois (1926-2012) depicting colourful bathing huts on a wide expanse of pale sand. The composition employs a loose, impressionistic technique with delicate brushwork that conveys the gentle movement of beachgoers and flags along the promenade. Well presented in a gilt-effect frame with white slip. Signed lower left. Signed and titled to the reverse. On canvas on stretchers.
