A vibrant oil painting by the artist Gordon Metcalfe, depicting a coastal view of Newport Bay and Dinas Head, Dyfed. Signed and dated to the lower left-hand corner. There is a label on the reverse inscribed with the artist's name, medium, date and title. Well-presented in a speckled, gilt-effect frame with an inner detail in white. On canvas on stretchers.

Condition

In fine condition overall, with very minor surface marks. Small scuffs to the frame. Inspection under UV light reveals no restoration.
