A charming 20th century folk art scene in oil, showing a proud hound hunting pesky rodents on his property boundary. The oil has been painted in a wonderful naive style, mirroring that of original 19th century Folk Art paintings. Well presented in a charming wood frame. Unsigned.
Condition
There is a fine layer of dirt on the surface of the oil, particularly noticeable in the areas of white. Inspection under UV light reveals no restoration.
