A charming mid-twentieth century portrait of a gentleman by Swiss artist Emil Beurmann (1862–1951), captured with broad, Impressionistic brushstrokes. The work is signed and dated to the upper left, and is well presented in a rustic frame. On board.
Condition
Slight discolouration. The frame has an intentionally distressed finish, with scuffs and small losses. Overall, the artwork is in very good condition for its age.
