Description

A picturesque view across a mountain lake in the north of Italy with an island monastery at the centre of the composition. Boats sail on the water surrounding the island. Presented in a cream mount and a distressed gilt-effect wooden frame. Signed and dated to the lower-right edge. On watercolour paper.

Condition

There is some discolouration, primarily around the edges of the painting.
