This meticulously detailed heraldic study in pen and watercolour depicts the coat of arms of the Grey family. The shield features a striped design - known in heraldic language as a 'barry' - with three red circles along the top. The crest consists of a rampant unicorn with an ermine pattern. An additional lion statant has been drawn to the lower right. Unsigned. On paper.

Slight discolouration and light foxing to the paper. Small strips of tape in each corner. Overall, the artwork is in very good condition for its age.
