A fine miniature copy of Pinturicchio's portrait of Lucrezia Borgia, an Italian noblewoman of the House of Borgia and the illegitimate daughter of Pope Alexander VI and Vannozza dei Cattanei. Presented in a decorative carved frame. Unsigned; however, a small monogram is just visible under UV light to the lower left, possibly 'E P'. On tin.
Condition
Signs of wear consistent with age. Fine craquelure observed throughout the surface of the painting. There is a small surface scratch above the sitter's hands. Overall, the artwork is in very good condition for its age.
