A bright watercolour painting by the British artist William Tatton Winter, depicting a landscape scene with a figure and two cows. Signed to the lower right-hand corner. Artist's name and title inscribed on the mount and to a label on the reverse. Well-presented in a double washline card mount and in an ornate gilt effect frame, as shown. On watercolour paper.Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. Minor scuffs to the frame.

Artist Biography
William Tatton Winter was born in the north of England in Ashton under Lyne, Lancashire where he studied art formally here and on the continent before eventually settling in Reigate. He received royal recognition from both Queen Victoria and Queen Mary and exhibited widely Europe-wide including the RA, RBA, NWS New Gallery.
