A charming, impasto portrait of an elderly woman, sitting in a chair and staring wistfully off into the distance. The artist has signed and dated to the lower right corner and inscribed with the sitter's name and some other illegible information on the reverse. On canvas.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. There is some slack to the canvas and a tear to the canvas at the upper right stretcher edge.
