W.E. Fox - Fine Gilt Framed Impressionist Original Mid 20th Century Oil. A fine painting in an impressive ornate gilt frame. Signed in the lower right. The colours in the picture look slightly more red than they are in reality. Signed. On canvas on stretchers. Condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and craquelure. Inspection under UV light reveals no sign of restoration. There are some small losses and repairs to the frame but these are minor and do not detract from the effect of the whole.
