A fine graphite drawing depicting a city street in detail. Sydney Robert Jones was born in Birmingham in 1881 and studied fine art at Birmingham School of Fine Art. He then travelled extensively around Europe, becoming a painter, etcher, draughtsman and author. He exhibited in some of Europe's most renowned galleries and exhibitions, including the Paris Salon.
