A stunning set of 4 aquatints depicting illustrations from Robert Thornton's Temple of Flora. This selection is by Philip Reinagle and Abraham Pether and has their names inscribed to the lower edges of the work alongside the title of each scene.
We believe these are re-strikes of which two are on wove whilst the other two have been mounted to card. Unsigned.
On wove.There is some even discolouration and foxing to all works most noticeably on 'The Snowdrop.' As well as some water damage to 'The Blue Palsion Flower.'
