There are some scuffs to the frame, primarily to the lower-right corner. There is some craquelure and mild surface dirt. Overall in very good condition. Inspection under UV light reveals no restoration.

Raymond Tassoul (b.1887) was a Belgian painter of landscapes, still lifes, and flowers. He trained at the Academie de Bruxelles and exhibited in Brussels from 1927 onwards. He also painted French landscapes.
