A fine example of a late Victorian water gilded frame with gilt oval mount. Presented in its original velvet lined box. The frame currently contains a historic black and white photograph of a young girl holding a flower.
The measurements for the frame are: Inner window: 20cm x 15cm, Outer frame size: 40cm x 35cm, Rebate: 23cm x 18cm.
Condition
Stable cracking to the frame. The delicate ornamentation must be handled with care as it can be prone to damage. The frame has retained its vibrant gilt colouring. Light deterioration is visible to the textile lining.
