A beautifully ornate oval picture frame with water gilding. The frame is adorned with delicate floral details and sports a foliate cartouche. This would have been originally presented in a velvet-lined box which has unfortunately been lost.

Stable cracking to the frame. The delicate ornamentation must be handled with care as it can be prone to damage. The frame has retained its vibrant gilt colouring.
