A charming oil painting by Nancy Weir Huntly depicting a continuous view through two arched entrances into a grand stable courtyard. The painting is very modern in its appearance with bold brushwork and bright colours. Indistinctly signed to the lower right corner. The painting is beautifully presented in a complementing brush gilt-effect frame.

Artist Biography
Nancy Weir Huntly (Nee Sheppard) was a painter in oil of portraits and landscapes. She was born in 1890, in Nusserabad, India and studied art in Dusseldorf at the Royal Academy Schools. She exhibited at the R.A, R.P, R.O.I, P.S, G.I and at the Paris Salon. She lived in Welwyn Garden City in Hertfordshire with her daughter Faith Sheppard.
