Mildred Hall was a painter and illustrator born in Lewisham, London the daughter of a solicitor. She attended the Slade School of Art furthering her studies in Munich. In 1906 she married architect Frank Jennings, (1877-1949) and they became the parents of painter Frank Humphrey Sinkler Jennings. She painted in oils and watercolours and illustrated as detailed below. In 1911 Mildred started the Walberswick Peasant Pottery Company and a decade later relocated the shop to Kensington, London. Her death was recorded at St Charles Hospital, Kensington.
