Artist Biography
Mary Stella Edwards (1915-2009) was originally a teacher in London before moving to the West Country and finally St Ives where she rented an old artist’s studio, which was a large open space, near the harbour. She shared her studio with her husband John Edwards, also a painter. She often signed her work 'Yram Allets', a reversal of her first two names.
