Description

This vibrant 20th century oil depicts a busy Italian harbour docked with many colourful fishing boats. The artist has paid particular attention to the position of each with the reflection of sky rippling in the water between. Well-presented in a soft linen slip and gilt-effect frame. Illegibly signed. On canvas on stretchers.

Condition

There is a faint white mark to the lower member of the frame. Inspection under UV light reveals no restoration.
