Description

This vibrant watercolour captures the pageantry of a royal procession along a tree-lined avenue, with crowds of onlookers flanking the route. The artist skilfully balances the grand scale of the event with intimate details, from the ornate horse-drawn carriage to the statuesque figure in the foreground, creating a sense of both spectacle and personal observation. Signed and dated to the lower right. Presented in a wooden frame. On paper.
