An accomplished portrait of a smartly dressed gentleman with a patterned tie and pearl tie pin by Marguerite Dorbritz (b.1886). Signed and dated to the lower left. On canvas on stretchers.

Condition

The condition is good for a picture of this age, with minimal discolouration and craquelure. Inspection under UV light reveals no restoration.
