A charming watercolour scene in the manner of David Teniers, showing a group of men playing cards outside the local ale house on the river. The watercolour has been well-presented in a fine gilt-effect frame with a twisted foliate running pattern and floral window. Unsigned. On paper.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration to the watercolour and small losses to the gilt-effect frame (top right-hand corner). Some staining visible along the top member of the frame.
