Malcolm Mitchell is a well known British artist, working predominantly in the latter years of the twentieth-century. Mitchell was a member of the Society of Amateur Artists and lived in Kingsbridge, focusing his practice on quintessential English landscapes of the South West of England and English Riviera. Mitchell also travelled extensively throughout Europe, this is where he painted scenes of Venice and picturesque scenes of Southern France.
