The watercolour has been well-presented in an ornate gilt-effect frame with swept rails and foliate mouldings. Signed by the artist to the lower right. On paper.Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. Various repairs have been made to the frame's swept rail.

Artist Biography
Leopold Rivers (1850-1905) was a London born landscape painter, son and pupil of the marine painter William Joseph Rivers. Exhibited at the R.I. and R.B.A. from 1873 (member 1890); the R.A. 1878–1904.
