Description
A wholesome, heartwarming scene in charcoal with white chalk bodywork. The scene shows three sisters, the youngest being held on the back of a donkey, the oldest leading the donkey by the reigns. The girls are carrying long stems of foxgloves. The drawing is unsigned and presented in a simple wood frame. On wove.Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including heavy discolouration. There are some small holes in the wove above the donkey's head. The frame has some scuffing and denting and a loss to the upper right corner.
