This wonderfully delicate collection of graphite and chalk portraits by the artist G. Querville captures a variety of faces and personalities. Many of the works are signed and date from the early 1930s and onwards to wartime France. Querville's handling of the medium is a skilled one, with a deft ability in both graphite, chalk and charcoal.
