Description

A watercolour and gum arabic lake scene with boats on the water and figures stood on the shoreline. The painting likely dates from the 1820s. Unsigned. The initials are taken from the verso of a painting by the same hand, also for sale at Sulis Fine Art. On wove.

Condition

There is some mild discolouration and mount burn. There is some wear to the edges and corners, including a very small closed tear to the upper-left edge. Overall in good condition.
