Description
A delightful watercolour painting with sgraffito details by the artist A.D. Hammersley. The scene depicts a view in Dimminsdale, a 37 hectare geological and biological Site of Special Scientific Interest partly in Derbyshire and partly in Leicestershire. Title, signature and date to the lower left-hand corner. Well-presented in a golden card mount and in its original, very fine, ornate gilt frame. On watercolour paper.Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and very minor foxing. Small marks to the mount. Some stable cracking and minor scuffs to the frame.
