On the rear of the canvas is stamped the faded emblem of Reeves and Sons.
Signed and dated. On canvas on stretcher.The condition of this painting is typical for one of its age, with the paint surface showing signs of discolouration, cracking and creasing. There is surface dirt to be found in areas across the painting. There are several areas of restoration to rear of the canvas where small holes have been repaired. Most noticeably to the far right of the composition where a 24cm vertical line is visible.
