A late 19th, possibly early 20th-century landscape painting by Armand Guéry (1850–1912), depicting a tranquil riverside scene with wildflowers in bloom on the far bank. Birds grace the sky above a distant treeline, creating a sense of depth and calm. Well presented in a gilt-effect frame with acanthus profile. Signed lower right. On board.

Condition

A light, even patina of age is present across the surface of the artwork. Minor surface marks and abrasions are noted in the top third. The frame has minor surface wear, including small chips and light scratches. Overall, the artwork is in very good condition for its age.
