Signs of wear consistent with age. Craquelure and light abrasions throughout. Inspection under UV light reveals extensive overpainting. The canvas has been relined. Overall the artwork is in good condition for its age. Wear to the frame, including scuffs, chips and indentation. Some separation to the mitre joints. The frame has undergone prior restoration, with touch-ins to the gilt surface. Overall the frame remains in good condition for its age.
