A young woman sits at a small tea table in a panelled interior, teacup raised, glancing out at us with the faintest smile. Her floral overdress and pale blue skirt are worked in fine detail, set against the softer greys of the room, a gilt mirror, a wall sconce and a silver tea service on a tray. Signed and dated to the lower right. Presented in a swept gilt frame with shell ornamentation. On paper.
Condition
The frame has minor surface wear and scuffs. The artwork is in fine condition for its age.
