Description

A striking portrait of an African woman in profile. The head jewellery and hairstyle indicate that she may well be from the Pokot community of Ethiopia. The artist has signed to the lower left corner and the portrait has been presented in a contemporary gilt frame with card mount. On watercolour paper.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. There is some tarnishing and surface scuffing to the gilt frame.
