Description

A delightful continental school portrait in watercolours, depicting an elegant female seated in a dramatic mountainous landscape. The artist captures the sitter in profile near the cliffs edge, wearing a white blouse, plum overdress, golden underskirt and oversized summer hat. Unsigned. Well-presented in a rustic gilt-effect frame with a new card mount. On paper.

Condition

Some light wear to the rustic gilt frame. The watercolour itself is in excellent condition for its age.
