J.P. - 1860 Oil Figures on Steps Outside a Cottage

J.P. - Original 1860 Oil. There is a monogram and date in the picture- 'J.P. 80' is inscribed on a doorplate to left of door. Unsigned. On canvas on stretchers. Condition is typical for a picture of this age including craquelure, small losses and some discolouration. Painted on canvas laid down on re-lined canvas. There is some restoration in the upper left corner, an area towards the middle upper edge and another to the left of the left figure's head.
