The artist captures the fine details in her face and clothes, including the gentle folds in her scarf and soft look in her eyes. Signed to the lower right. Part of a pair of portraits by the same hand, the other being of a bearded gentleman. On paper.

There is a foxing mark to the centre right of the piece.
