A very fine 19th Century watercolours showing an Italian family. The boy sits on he ground at his parents feet. All three are finely dressed in traditional, regional garb with unusual check hessian travelling cloaks. The mother holds her spindle of wool, pulling it outer into a fine thread. The painting is unsigned. Well presented in a card mount and 19th Century gilt frame with beaded mouldings. On wove.

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and fading, mainly around the edges. The frame has some light wear commensurate with its age.
