The story of Jack Sheppard is a historical romance and a Newgate novel based on the real life of the 18th-century criminal Jack Sheppard. These fine engraved plates greatly enhanced the popularity of the title when published. Trimmed to the plate and laid down individually on heavy paper. Signed in the plate. The engravings have a water stain towards the right edge, and minor foxing.Size
