Artist Biography
Little-known painter of country subjects, mainly in watercolours who was born in Kirk Harle, Northumberland about 12 miles west of Morpeth. His work also encompassed gypsy camp scenes and fox hunting. The 1901 census records him as an artist but there is as yet no records of his having exhibited in any major galleries during his life-time. the died in Halifax, Yorkshire.
