An early 19th /possibly late 18th century watercolour depicting two figures resting by a lake. With their backs to the viewer, the two figures can be seen looking curiously across the large stretch of water into the extend landscape beyond. Well presented in a cotton white mount and contemporary gilt frame. Unsigned. On paper.
Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. There is a small closed tear along the lower edge, close to the mount. The overall condition of the picture is very good.
