In the bottom left-hand corner is an inscription which seems to read 'campsite view'.
Body colour is used to highlight the splash of the water and the figures atop the rocks.
The wove is mounted to the wooden frame and surrounded by a gold wash lined mount board, and presented in a gilt effect wooden frame.
Signed illegibly. On wove.The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. The wove is warped slightly and some light foxing is apparent in some areas. The frame is in good condition, with some areas of wear.
