A finely painted and colourful maritime scene of a Man-of-War ship off the British coast. Well-presented in handsome gilt-effect frame with oval window and ornate corner mouldings. Fixed to the reverse of the frame is an original Carvers & Gilders label. Unsigned. On panel.
Condition
Signs of wear to the gilt frame to include stable cracking on all four sides. Inspection under UV light reveals no restoration. The overall condition of the painting is very good.
