A crisp and vibrant watercolour study of tranquil river location, shaded by soft woodland trees. A figure can be seen quietly knelt at the river's edge, washing themselves and their clothes. The scene has been painted in the delicate style of French artist Simeon Fort during his lifetime. Newly mounted in a beautiful oak wood frame. Unsigned. On watercolour paper.

Condition

The is a small black mark to the frame's glazing in the top right-hand corner. Otherwise in fine condition.
