A fine graphite study of a old town house with figures. Inscribed to the lower right 'Conway'. Most probably a misspelling of Conwy, a walled market town located on the north coast of Wales. The town was built between 1283 and 1289. Well presented in a washline mount and gilt frame. Signed and dated. On wove.
Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and foxing. Small marks to the frame.
